Who bends the squills' heads in Har Hanegev?
AbstractIn recent years, a broad damage was detected in Urginea (Drimia) maritima's scapes in Mitzpe Ramon area. Inspection of the scapes at their early development stages has revealed that caterpillars of the moth Metachrostis velox caused the damage. This finding raises many questions about the phenomena extent and the damage mechanism.
